«NIGHT OF ARTS» ON OSTANKINO TV TOWER

On the night from the 4th to the 5th of November of this year, the Ostankino TV Tower will for the first time become a participant in the all-Russian action «Night of the Arts». This annual cultural and educational event is held throughout Russia. The organizers of the 2018 action will be the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Department of Culture of the City of Moscow and the portal of cultural heritage and traditions of Russia «Culture. RF ». The Moscow stock will be attended by such iconic sites of the city as the Kremlin Museum, Zaryadye Park, Planetarium, National Center for Contemporary Art, the State Museum of A.S. Pushkin, the Tsaritsyno State Museum-Preserve, the Kolomenskoye Museum-Preserve, Moscow Railway Stations , Kiev, others) and many others. Starting at 22:00, the Ostankino TV tower will feature excursions, complemented by a professional DJ set performed by idm's most experienced artist and ambient stage Nika Zvereva, who will recreate real music of the Ostankino TV tower in real time. The concept of music for the Tower was developed by composer and sound producer Igor Zalivalov. The essence of the concept is as follows: on eight levels of the tower there are special sensors that read information about the strength, speed and direction of the wind. Information from each sensor is processed by a special machine, which “binds” to this data a certain set of samples and instrumental sounds, reducing them to the melodic sound of the Ostankino television tower. The guests will also have access to an interactive multimedia complex of the TV tower, consisting of three main parts. The analytical center in the lobby presents the results of the meteorological equipment of the Ostankino television tower, capable of measuring, storing and processing various weather indicators in real time. After a walk through the analytical center, guests will see the tower dance, find out what the nature of lightning is, be able to create the weather on their own, etc. In the historical part of the complex, personalities are revealed, thanks to which in 1967 the highest building in the world was erected at that time. Climbing to the observation deck, visitors will see night Moscow from a bird's eye view and get acquainted with the buildings where the other key events of the “Art Nights” will take place. Here is the third part of the multimedia complex - an interactive exhibition, represented by bright and colorful content of professional photographers. The “Seventh Heaven” restaurant complex will be open for everyone in the “Night of Arts”. To take part in the action, you must register on the official website "Art Night".
