World Television Day

World television has gone through a long history of development, becoming for us a simple and affordable way to obtain a variety of information. The history of domestic television broadcasting is inextricably linked with the Ostankino tower. It is thanks to tower antennas that the signal from the telecentre is transmitted to our televisions. Today, Russian television is experiencing an era of transformation. The country is switching from analogue to digital broadcasting.
