Participation of Ostankino TV tower in conference of the Global Federation of Great Towers 2016

From 25 to 29 of September, 2016, the 29^th conference of the Global Federation of Great Towers was held at Tokyo. This year, 49 delegates from the 31 global towers had participated in the conference including various delegates, of which delegates from Ostankino TV Tower. During the conference, each tower had made their presentations with information on current projects in attraction of tourist flows, improvement of service quality, development of restoration business, and implementation of the innovative technologies in tourist and entertainment activity at skyscrapers. Participants of the conference had shared their development plans for the next year. Besides interesting presentations, conference program includes various working seminars on such relevant topics  as lighting of various online ticket systems, development and management of sales of branded souvenir products, PR technologies, etc.  For Ostankino TV Tower, given conference became not only the place where the delegates could share their unique experience, but as well as notable event, as based on its results, executive committee of the federation took decision that in future year venue of the conference would be Ostankino TV Tower.

It should be reminded that in 2008, Ostankino TV Tower had already welcomed conference in its walls and it is a great honor that venue of the conference in 2017 would be Ostankino TV Tower, as in the next year Ostankino TV Tower would celebrate its 50^th anniversary, that will provide special status and importance to the conference.
