Ostankino TV Tower Participates in a Large-Scale Competition “Russia 10”

A global multimedia competition “Russia 10” arranged by the Russian Geographic Community  along with the Media Holding of All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) had started on the 25^th of March. Slogan of the competition is “Let us reopen Russia”. Russian residents would solely select 10 of the main sightseeing points of the country via Internet and sms-voting. Selection of the most appealing objects would take place on September 29, 2013. 10 principal miracles of Russia would become new national symbols. The competition would result in creation of the “Russia” park, a landscape recreation complex in Domodedovo, which would represent our country in a “miniature”. Purpose of the project is to support stable interest in Russia as an object of domestic and international tourism. Even now, Ostankino TV Tower polls a large number of votes.
