Weddings at the height!

On May 24, 2019, for the first time in history, marriages were registered on the Ostankino Tower. Marriages tied the bonds of love against the backdrop of wonderful citysight. The first who entered into their marriage in heaven were 6 newlyweds. Each couple with guests walked along excursion route of the Ostankino Tower and climbed to observation deck (337 m) for the ceremony. At the exit from elevator, Mendelssohn’s march began to play, escorting spouses and guests to registration site, which was carried out directly on glass floor section. In honor of the opening of event, violinist has been playing live music. For marriage ceremonies, the Ostankino Tower organized a special decor - this day zone of glass floors on the observation platform was buried in flowers. The Ostankino Tower participates in the project of Moscow Civil Registry Office administration - marriage registration in unusual places of Moscow. That action should help young families to make the marriage registration process vivid, original and memorable.
